Often I will see a car parked by the side of the road and stop for a few photos - that has been anything from a sports car parked outside a restaurant to a classic truck that no longer runs and is used as a yard ornament.
-
I have also taken a few different vehicles out to locations (such as the above photo, which is one of several from this shoot.)
Battle Creek Speedfest is a standing 1/2 mile shoot-out previously held at W.K Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek, MI.
In addition to the shoot-out vehicles that are on display, there are often vehicles brought in by several local dealers.

I attended in 2018 and 2019 and would definitely recommend this event to any sports car enthusiasts.
Every Thursday evening from 4:30 pm to 8 pm the Das Dutchman Essenhaus in MIddlebury, Indiana hosts a classic car cruise-in.
It is a wonderful way to spend the warm summer evenings and something I greatly enjoy attending.
-
Registering your classic car is completely free and includes coupons to the Essenhaus Restaurant and the Essenhaus Village Shops.
Bartel & Company Auctioneers-Realtors
hold several automotive auctions yearly, the largest of these being the Hooley classic/collectors car auction every April at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair grounds (indoor and outdoor).
-
I have attended for three years now and enjoy it very much as it a great event for the whole family to enjoy.
I am not focusing solely on automotive photography at this time, but if you are interested in having me photograph a car you can feel free to head over to the contact page and send me a message or leave a voicemail explaining what you had in mind.
---
I work out of Elkhart, Indiana, however, depending on the car and shoot you have in mind I would be willing to travel to photograph vehicles.
